The Public Information Office’s primary objective is to work directly with the Chief of Police and each division to appropriately go through information relating to the operation and activities of the Collierville Police Department to the media and public in a manner that reflects the CPD's core values - integrity, courage, collaboration, respect, and innovation.  All information released to the public must be given out in a way that will inform the public without jeopardizing the integrity of the Collierville Police Department, its employees, or any ongoing investigation.

The Public Information Office engages the public in numerous ways, from interacting with local media outlets, broadcast media, and writing press statements.   Additionally, this unit provides information about CPD to the public through our social media pages on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Nextdoor.
