Local Artists at Collierville Burch Library

Each month, the Collierville Burch Library features a local artist in the Library lobby's Gallery Hall as part of our "Meet the Artist" program.

The Library's dedication to supporting emerging and established artists not only enriches the cultural landscape of the Town but also encourages a sense of community engagement and pride.

“Only through art can we emerge from ourselves and know what another person sees.” - Marcel Proust

How to Apply for the "Meet the Artist" Program

To apply to display your art at the Collierville Burch Library, please contact the Information Desk at 457-2601. A staff member will assist you in the application process.

Donations for Permanent Exhibit

Are you interested in donating an artwork for the Library's permanent collection? Here's how you can help the community appreciate and experience art by donating a piece to the Burch Library.

The Lucius E. and Elsie C. Burch, Jr. Library seeks to be a facility that honors and displays fine art through our "Art for Everyone" initiative. We want to help make art a part of the Library’s culture and raise community awareness regarding the importance of art.

Generous donations from artists allow us to enhance the beauty of our Library and stimulate the minds of our patrons. Donated artworks become a permanent part of the Library’s collection and are displayed in the Library on a rotating basis.

The “Art for Everyone” concept is simple:

  • Donate one piece of original art work, framed and ready to hang. Monthly artists featured in the Gallery Hall are encouraged to donate one piece from their exhibit.
  • The artist’s name, the name of the piece, and the value should be listed on the back of each piece.
  • Your donation is tax deductible.

Please consider partnering with us to promote arts in our community.

"Every time we view a new work of art, it refreshes our taste for creative efforts and reminds us of the larger questions of life."
