Collierville Fire and Rescue is a full-service department that provides life safety, fire protection and customer service to the community through the delivery of fire suppression and protection, specialized technical rescue operations, hazardous materials incident control measure, advanced emergency medical services and other services based upon community needs. 

We believe in public fire education, code development and enforcement, comprehensive fire investigations, fire inspections, plans review, and providing non-emergency support services designed to provide a fire-safe community. We are dedicated to customer service, both internally and externally. 

We foster a philosophy of integrity, honesty, honor, and respect for our community as well as our fire and rescue family. We value the public's trust and are committed to honest and ethical behavior. 

Collierville Fire and Rescue completes a variety of trainings each year to ensure continued compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations. We have an obligation to our citizens, as well as to our families, to make sure we perform our jobs in a safe and efficient manner. Training together builds unity, community, connection, and teamwork. 

 Selberg

Meet our Fire Chief, John Selberg.  He joined Collierville Fire and Rescue July 1, 2022.  He began his career in 1977 as a volunteer firefighter in Germantown.  It didn't take long before he was hired as a firefighter/paramedic.  He has served as a Department Lieutenant, Battalion Chief, Fire Marshal, Assistant Fire Chief, and Fire Chief.   Chief Selberg has also served as the emergency management director for the City of Germantown.  He has collected numerous awards and accomplishments throughout his career.
