The Planning Division, which is part of the Development Department, is responsible for long-range, current planning, and maintaining the Town's Geographic Information System (GIS). The Planning Division provides staff support to the Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BMA), Planning Commission (PC), Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA), Design Review Commission (DRC) and Historic District Commission (HDC). The Planning Division also supports the BMA in its annual goal setting each year.
