The access road from Powell Road into the middle of H.W. Cox Park needs to be resurfaced, and the Town is starting to put the improvement plan into action.  

Currently, we are in the process of soliciting bids for paving work while Parks Maintenance Crews are filling in holes with rocks to level the surfaces for park visitors.  
 
The primary focus is the main park entry road starting at Powell Road to the soccer fields in the back of the park. Pending Board of Mayor and Aldermen approval, a few parking lots may be added to the paving project; these alternates include soccer, tennis, and baseball field parking lots.
