The Shelby County Health Department issued Health Directive No. 29, which encompasses every municipality in Shelby County including Collierville. This directive gives safety guidelines for businesses and the general public.


For answers to COVID-19 questions, call the Shelby County Health Department COVID-19 Call Center at 833-943-1658 (available to take calls 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Sunday). After hours leave a message; your call will be returned the next business day.

If you are symptomatic or have been in close contact with a COVID-19 patient, call or text a testing location first to schedule an appointment. See a list of COVID-19 community testing sites here or call 833-556-2476 or 877-857-2945 to find a testing location near you.

Participate in Public Meetings virtually!

Follow these simple instructions for Submitting eComments during Public Meetings. Please note, you will be required to set up an account to use this feature and anonymous comments are not allowed.

  1. Access meeting agendas here.
  2. View upcoming public meetings under “upcoming events.”
  3. The eComment option will be in the far-right column.
  4. Click on the eComment link to begin.
  5. You will be required to set up an account: First Name, Last Name, and Email Address.
  6. Following setting up your account, you will receive a verification email. This email needs to be accessed to verify the email. Once your account is verified, please log Username and Password for future access.
  7. The meeting agenda items will be displayed. Click Comment next to the appropriate agenda item. The eComment form will become available for that agenda item.
  8. Optional: Select an option that reflects your position on the item: (Oppose / Neutral / Support)
  9. Enter your comments in the field provided. There is a 500-character limit. (A running counter displays how many characters are remaining as you type.)
  10. Optional: If you want to add an attachment to your comment, click Choose a File, and upload your file. There is a limit of 3 files. (files must be in pdf, doc, text, csv, and xls)
  11. Click Submit Comment.
  12. View Comments allows users to view comments made on individual agenda items by other constituents.
